RICH ENERGY OMG RACING HEAD TO BRANDS HATCH FOR SUPERBIKE FINALE

AFTER TEN ROUNDS AND MULTIPLE PODIUMS, THE RICH ENERGY OMG RACING TEAM ARE LOOKING TO END THE SEASON ON A HIGH AT BRANDS HATCH THIS WEEKEND

After what seems like just a matter of a few weeks, the RICH Energy OMG Racing team head to Brands Hatch for the final round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship. Ten rounds have gone before us and although it's been a challenging task at times, Brad Ray, Kyle Ryde, and Billy McConnell, have done us proud on the Superbikes and the Superstock machine, bringing home multiple top tens, and podium finishes. All three riders are eager to stand on the podium again before the end of Sunday and the team are chomping at the bit to help them achieve those goals.

After his maiden podium for the team at Donington Park, Kyle Ryde heads to Kent full of confidence. A strong ride at the recent 'Stars of Darley' meeting gave the Nottinghamshire man another podium appearance to follow up on his previous weekend's success. Bradley Ray makes the short journey to his home circuit with nothing more than wins on his mind. After a difficult last couple of rounds at Brands Hatch, the Kent man is in determined mood ahead of the final races of the season as he chases Lee Jackson for Riders Cup honours and make his mark on home turf.

Aussie National Superstock contender, Billy McConnell, is still in with a chance of snatching the championship from the grasp of the current leader. It's an uphill task and one that is simple: Billby needs to win and Tom Neave to finish outside the top 13. That's not the only story for the championship, however, as the small matter of consolidating second place in the championship will be a different battle as Alex Olsen sits just one point behind the former British Supersport champion. It's all to play for at Brands Hatch in what is sure to be an epic final Pirelli National Superstock race for 2021.

Prior to the weekend, Team Principal, Paul Curran, said: "It's been a difficult season at times, but that's motorcycle racing - if it were easy, more people would be doing it. For us to come away from Donington Park with the results we did was excellent for the whole team, and I was delighted for everyone. The teamwork in the garage has been exceptional all season and I'm proud of the way the crews have handled themselves both in the good times and the not-so-good times.

Now our attentions turn to the final round, it's certainly come around quickly and we're keen to end the season on a high with a big challenge for the Rider's Cup with Brad at his home round, strong results for Kyle and a race win for Billy. It will be a tough Superstock race as the competition is fierce, but we'll give Billy everything he needs on Sunday to do the best job possible as everything else is out of his and our control. For Kyle it's a matter of continuing to build his new wave of confidence from Donington and Darley Moor and spurring him on to be in a position to help Brad, wherever he can.

To end on some great news, our plans for BSB 2022 are already finalised and will be announced very soon. There are exciting times ahead!"
